ANNUAL VISIT TO PISMO BEACH

We enjoyed a wonderful weekend at Pismo Coast Village with friends and family. This year Matthew, Jenny and  Mikaela joined us, bringing their toy hauler trailer and camping at PCV too.  One of the loveliest sunsets we've experienced in a while, taken at the campground looking over the canal that runs into the ocean:

One afternoon there was a really low tide and we were able to walk way down the beach to "below sea level" and it was so neat, like walking on a mirror - Matt's dog, Bodie, had a great time running on the sand:

What a wonderful way to spend the first holiday of the year - a 3-day weekend at Pismo Coast Village. We visited the butterfly preserve, and had lunch out at the pier twice.  We had dinner at Finn's and enjoyed it a lot!  We also enjoyed a wonderful Korean meal prepared by Soon Parshall. Thank you Soon (and family) for feeding the group. It was delicious.
