Beverly Hills Permit Center

This is the front desk of the permit center - where Jill now spends her mornings covering an unfilled position. The following photos are to the left and right of the information desk.  The permit center was remodeled from October 2007-October 2008 to look more like the first floor of City Hall (which has been renumbered now to the second floor.  The old entrance and first floor were used in the Beverly Hills cops movies....

and right... hard to see but there are counters beyond the seated desks that have 3 computers for transportation department (ticket appeals, parking permits) and on the other side, the same for Planners, Plan Review and Building Inspectors to meet with the public.  The floor is actually cement but a special process with inlay to imitate the marble floors that are upstairs.
