CELEBRATING WENDY'S GRADUATION

The weekend following graduation, we hosted a party at home to celebrate with family and friends. The Bounce was quite a hit with children of all ages!!! The margarita machine got emptied and later into the evening we played Wendy's version of "Celebrity" boys against the girls. Lots of giggles and a promise for a rematch!!

Jesse enjoyed teasing Rosslyn (and she enjoyed it too!)....

Yes, Joe is gaining years and is now a GRANDPA!

I won't say he's old yet because what would that make me?

WENDY'S GRADUATION - April 27, 2009

CAL WESTERN SCHOOL

OF LAW

We had a great time with the family at graduation, and after lunch at the Cheesecake Factory

we headed for home. Since graduation was on Monday, we held a party to celebrate Wendy's accomplishment the following weekend at home.

TEAM FLAMINGO ROCKS THE MS WALK

Once again we joined our dear flamingo-happy friends (that would be the Fine-Feathered Friends of Floyd) and walked to raise funds to fight MS at Legoland in Carlsbad, California. Thanks to family and friends who were able to help support our effort with donations. We couldn't do it without you.

WHERE DID APRIL GO?

Early April - RV.NET Rally

AND - Matthew's Surprise Birthday Party with family and friends.

Hmm. Bill and Jill attended the RV.NET rally at Canyons RV Park in Anaheim/Yorba Linda area. Bill cooked banana pancakes (yum) and sat through the loooong gift exchange game. We also enjoyed our son's Surprise Birthday party at Irish Mist in Huntington Beach.

BILL HAS A BIRTHDAY!!

After a yummy lunch in the motorhome (Paninis) we took a walk down to the ocean!

Some of us walk faster than others... and there is a cave in the side of the bluff!

Lots of wonderful picture opportunities!

And of course, the walk back up was harder than the walk down!! Duh!

DEWAR'S = Yum, Yum, Yum!

Grandpa and Mikaela at the original Dewar's in Bakersfield. We rode to nephew Conner's first birthday party with Matt and Jenny. Stewart went with us too and we stopped for milkshakes at Dewar's. Even got a photo of Grandp and Grandma too!

ROSSLYN DANCES!

On February 27 Bill and Jill went to see Rosslyn and friends perform in a "talent" contest put on by her school. Matt, Jenny and Mikaela were there too, along with Julianna, Andrew and Rosslyn (the whole family almost - Aunt Wendy couldn't make it up from school this time).

Rosslyn is just right of center!

At intermission Rosslyn came to say Hi. We all had a great time!

Conner's 1st Birthday

Conner Chadd's first birthday was on February 14, 2009. He was sick, so the birthday party was postponed to the 28th. We had a great time. Rosslyn had girlscouts but Grandson Stewart was able to go with us. We rode up to Bakersfield with Matt, Jenny & Mikaela.
